About

Born and raised in Brisbane, my journey as a cellist has led to me studying and performing in venues all across the world. I have been a participant at many chamber music festivals, including the Icicle Creek Festival in Washington, Musical Chairs Festival in Montréal, Ticino Musica in Switzerland and International Sommerakademie in Germany. Closer to home, I have performed with the Queensland Symphony, as well as with Camerata, Ensemble Q, the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Queensland Youth Symphony.

Following the completion of my Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium, I travelled to Hamburg, Germany to undertake further postgraduate studies with Tanja Tetzlaff at the Hamburg Hochschule für Musik und Theater. I have been fortunate to have so many other inspiring mentors over the years, including my previous teachers Trish Dean, Meta Weiss and Melissa Dineen.
